Purpose: Re-establish limited government in the Northeastern United States. Background: For the past dozen years, limited government has been on the decline in the northeastern United States. The northeast has come to be dominated by liberals and liberalism. Bad ideas on all the key limited government issues now rule the day, from Eliot Spitzer's drivers license scheme, to Mike Bloomberg's Manhattan Nanny State. Limited government in America will not survive if the limited government movement devolves into a regional movement and remains dormant in the northeast, along with the west coast, and increasingly large parts of the Midwest. |
